ORLD4051: How Adults Learn

How Adults Learn is designed to provide a sophisticated introduction to basic and significant theories of adult learning. During the semester we will attempt to both model and experience the very theories we are studying. Hence, we strive to learn in a variety of "ways of knowing", exploring the theories behind the "ways" and our own responses to different modes of learning.

ORLD6550A: Technology and Higher Education

Technology and Higher Education focuses on the contemporary issues of how technology should be applied by educators in institutions of higher education. The course contains three core units of study: 1) Impact of technology on literacy and societal development; 2) Effects of technology on pedagogy; and 3) Strategic uses of technology by colleges and universities.
